Announcing the 2023 Fourth Revolution Award Winners
(CHICAGO March 27, 2023) — mHUB announced the winners of the Fourth Revolution Awards last Thursday, March 23 during the mHUB HardTech Summit and Fourth Revolution Awards Evening Reception, a two-part event to commemorate innovation in hardtech and manufacturing.

Product Design of the Year
Recognizes a product design that is unique, improves user experience, and has an impact on productivity and the greater good.
IcarusRT is developing Quartet, a low-cost, novel thermal storage technology that is co-located with commercial and industrial scale PV arrays to improve daytime power output 18% and store thermal energy for use after sunset.
Small and Medium-Sized Manufacturer of the Year
Founded in 1955, ITAMCO is entering the era of employing the 4th generation and currently employees 124 employees. ITAMCO manufacturers gears that are supplied to the oil and gas industry and is starting to support the EV industry as well.
Community Empowerment Award
Recognizes a program or an initiative that promotes diversity and inclusion in manufacturing.
Chicago:Blend’s Chicago Venture Fellows is a first-of-its-kind program that offers a holistic approach to helping underrepresented, aspiring VCs break into the industry. CVF offers a full suite of support, education, mentorship and actual sourcing/diligence experience.
Innovation of the Year
Recognizes a technology or process that can advance multiple technologies and significantly improve the manufacturing ecosystem.

Rising Star Award
Recognizes a pre-series B round startup company, before its seventh year in operation, for its innovation, creativity, and position as the next great company to emerge in the region.
Enabling a new generation of regenerative therapeutics, the Dimension Inx biomaterials platform engineers three-dimensional microenvironments that direct cell behavior and allow the body to restore tissue and organ function more effectively.
